Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Services

Sky Canyon Veterinary Hospital provides emergency and critical care services for pets during our regular business hours. Our experienced veterinary team is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and an oxygen cage, allowing us to stabilize and treat pets facing serious or life-threatening conditions.

Veterinary emergencies may include:

• Deep cuts or wounds

• Broken bones

• Uncontrolled bleeding

• Poisoning or toxin ingestion

• Persistent or violent vomiting

• Being hit by a car

• Difficulty breathing

• Other traumatic injuries

If your pet is experiencing an emergency or requires critical care, please call ahead so our team can prepare to provide prompt and effective treatment.

Once you contact us, a member of our medical staff will assess the situation and advise you on next steps based on your pet’s condition and the time of day. Many emergency cases are treated on-site, and when necessary, we may refer patients to the Animal ER of the Western Slope for advanced or after-hours care.
