Wellness Care
At Sky Canyon Veterinary Hospital, we’re passionate about preventive medicine for pets. Similar to humans, there are many benefits to initiating and maintaining preventive care for your pets. In addition to preventing infectious disease, routine exams and blood tests each year can help us catch medical conditions in the early stages, which gives your pet the best chance to live a happy, full life.

Oncology
Getting the news that your beloved pet has cancer can be devastating. Due to advances in early recognition, diagnosis and treatment, pets today have a better chance of being successfully treated for cancer.
Some types of neoplasia can be cured, but other types can only be managed to decrease spread and prolong your pet’s comfort and life as much as possible.
At Sky Canyon Veterinary Hospital we are able to provide surgery, chemotherapy and immunotherapy options for your pet. Certain cancers may require a referral to a veterinary oncologist to obtain the best possible medical outcome for your pet.
Allergy Testing & Management
Do you think your pet may suffer from allergies? At Sky Canyon Veterinary Hospital we offer food allergy consultation and environmental testing with Heska Allercept. With this unique and specific testing, ALLERCEPT therapy shots or therapy drops can be developed to treat your pet’s allergies, which provides a specific management plan tailored to their exact allergen responses.

Hospice and Euthanasia
One of the most difficult decisions a pet parent will ever have to make is determining when it’s time to let an ill, injured, or senior pet go. For pets with terminal illness, we offer an array of hospice services. For those pets ready to cross the rainbow bridge, we offer peaceful, humane euthanasia.
If you have a senior, ill, or injured pet that needs hospice care, pain management, or humane euthanasia, please call or schedule a visit to discuss options and what’s best for your pet.
Health Certificates
At Sky Canyon Veterinary Hospital we have USDA accredited veterinarians that can provide issuance of live animal export health certificates, regardless of country or destination. Depending on the desired destination of your pet, the requirements of health certificates can vary greatly. Please allow ample time prior to your travel, so we may review what is required for travel.
